Jordan 2
The Nike Air Jordan II boasted the "Made In Italy" stamp and was the first in the Jordan series to be offered in a low top version.
The Air Jordan IIs were first released in 1986 through 1987. The stylish Air Jordan II high tops and low tops were just as popular as the Air Jordan I. All original Air Jordan II's were made in Italy. Since the mold for the original Air Jordan 2 was lost, Nike had to attentively examine the original AJII when they re-released the shoe in 1994. In 2004, Nike studied the 1994 retros when the shoe was re-released yet again.
Even though sketches and prototypes were put together, no black colorways of the AJII were produced. One of the most sought after pairs of Jordans is the Air Jordan II K.O. There are very few in existence, let along photos of the shoes.The Jordan II's were the last Air Jordan shoes to bear the Jordan Wings insignia.
