Jordan 7
The Nike Air Jordan VII was actually more Jordan and less Nike, displaying no Nike Air branding on the shoe.
Released in 1991, the Air Jordan VII shared many similarities with the Air Jordan VI model. The Air Jordan VII used some of the Nike Huarache technology to create a shoe that truly molded well to the feet. The AJVII was the first Air Jordan that did not have any distinctive "Nike Air" branding on the outer portions of the shoe. "Nike Air" can instead be found on the insoles. The lines on the Air Jordan VII were influenced by patterns of West African tribes.
Michael Jordan wore the VII's in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Nike designed a special "Olympic" colorway, which-instead of the number "23"- featured a "9" on the heel.
