Inspired by ancient Mayan sandals, Tinker Hatfield created the Nike Air Flight Huarache. The Air Flight Huarache is light with amazing cushioning. Knowing that this shoe would work just fine on its own, Nike decided not to add its famed Swoosh sign. The legendary Fab 5 made this shoe famous. During the 1992 season, University of Michigan's 5 freshmen starters dominated NCAA basketball. Jimmy King, Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Ray Jackson, and Juwan Howard had at least one thing in common when they dominated in the early 90s: the Nike Air Flight Huarache.
