Another addition to the Vintage lineup, the Nike LD 1000 was originally released in 1976. The LD 1000 was created especially for people who run at least 1000 miles a year. Like the Nike LDV Vintage, the Nike LD also uses a combination of nylon and suede to build the upper. Instead of a waffle sole, the LD 1000 features a herringbone pattern outsole. Nike's newer models are arguably a lot more comfortable than the 1976 version.
