When Nike SB wasn't doing so well and the skateboarding community was rejecting it, Nike decided to get someone popular to make the face of the new SB. They chose Paul Rodriguez, Jr, a great skater who has won many competitions. With his name on the new shoes, the SB line became much more successful. Now, there are many versions of the SB but the Paul Rodriguez is still many skaters' favorite. It features a mesh tongue for breathability, Zoom Air technology for cushioning and comfort, and rubber soles with grooves for durability and optimal traction.
