Andy Warhol was one of the most enigmatic and invigorating figures the art world has ever known. Throughout his "Pop" and "Post Pop" periods, Andy Warhol created an artistic revolution by consistently blurring the distinction between high and low art.
Appropriating images from popular culture, Warhol created many paintings that remain icons of 20th-century art, such as the "Campbell's Soup Cans", Disasters" and "Marilyn" in the '60s.
